The Beacon of Light Program is an extension of the churches' ministry. Heart 'n Home recognizes the churches' vital role in our communities. The goal of the Beacon of Light Program is to identify and train one person in each congregation to ensure the needs of the church family are being met.
What Does a
Beacon of Light Do?
Responsible for Conveying Needs of Church Family to Heart `n Home or the Appropriate Service
Assist in Recruitment of Volunteers Within Congregation
Make Certain Volunteers are Available to Those in Need
Serve Church Family and Local Area with Hospice Needs and Services
Maintain Close Contact With Church Leaders
Ensure Congregation is Informed About
Hospice and Has Access to Services

The Beacon of Light Representative is the "eyes and ears" for their congregation and local community. This important role allows the individual to become a "Beacon of Light" to their congregation.
